Acne
Adolescents frequently encounter acne. The medical term for this condition is Acne Vulgaris. Chronic inflammation of the pilosebaceous glands is referred to as acne. There are reports that the condition affects over 90% of adolescents and typically begins after puberty. It is exceedingly prevalent. While it is typically most severe during the late adolescent years, it can persist into the thirties and forties, particularly in females. Between the ages of 12 and 20, acne vulgaris is most prevalent. It frequently commences between the ages of 10 and 13, persists for 5 to 10 years, and typically subsides by the age of 20 to 25.
