What is Oxitan 50 ml?

Oxitan 50 ml injection contains Oxaliplatin which is a part of anticancer drugs. It is a drug administered for colon or rectum cancer. Oxitan 50 ml injection comprises Oxaliplatin under a category of drugs referred to as anticancer agents. Doctors usually apply it for the treatment of cancers in the colon or/or rectum. It is often used as adjuvant treatment following surgery in patients diagnosed with stage III colon cancer.

How Oxitan 50 ml Works:

Oxitan 50 ml containing Oxiplatin is an anti cancer drug that inhibits DNA synthesis by damaging the DNA (genetic material) of cancer cells and stops the cancerous growth and multiplication of cancer cells.

How To Take The Oxitan 50 ml :

Oxitan 50 ml is available in a vial for injection, and to be fill carefully in syringe which should be administered by a doctor or a nurse only. Do not self administer the injection.
