What is Voveran Emulgel 30 g?

Voveran Emulgel 30 g contains Diclofenac which belongs to the group of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to manage pain and inflammation related to muscle and joint injuries (Ex. sprains, strains, bruises, sports injuries, backache), tendonitis (Ex. tennis elbow), osteoarthritis (flexible tissue at the ends of bones wears down), swelling around elbow or knee or post-trauma.

If you are using Voveran Emulgel 30g for arthritis, your doctor may want to review your management regularly. If the pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days or if they worsen, inform your doctor. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as there might be a risk of severe burns.

How Voveran Emulgel 30 g Works

Voveran Emulgel 30g relieves pain and inflammation by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins (chemicals responsible for inducing pain and inflammation).

Uses Of Voveran Emulgel 30 g

Manages pain and inflammation related to:

• Muscle and joint injuries (Ex. sprains, strains, bruises, sports injuries, backache)
• Tendonitis (Ex. tennis elbow)
• Osteoarthritis
• Swelling around the elbow or knee

Warning & Precautions

Pregnancy

Voveran Emulgel 30 g is not recommend for use in pregnancy (during last 3 months). Voveran Emulgel 30 g should be used only under medical advice during first 6 months of pregnancy. Consult your doctor for advice.

Breastfeeding

Voveran Emulgel 30 g should only be use under medical advice during breast-feeding as it passes into breast milk in small amounts. However, prolonged application on the breasts of nursing mothers or elsewhere on large areas of skin should be avoided. Consult your doctor for advice.

Driving And Using Machines

Voveran Emulgel 30 g generally does not affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Kidney

Voveran Emulgel 30g is not recommend for use in patients with kidney failure. Voveran Emulgel 30g should be use with caution in patients having other kidney problems. Consult your doctor for advice.

Liver

Voveran Emulgel 30g should be use with caution in patients having liver problems. Consult your doctor for advice.

Allergy

Voveran Emulgel 30g is not recommend for use if you are allergic to Diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, other NSAIDs, peanuts, soya, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Lungs

Voveran Emulgel 30g should be use with caution in patients having asthma. Consult your doctor for advice.
